Francisco Domenech who is a managing partner at POLITANK served as a director of the Legislative Services office between the years of 2005 and 2008 at the P.R Legislative Assembly. As a director, Mr. FansiscoDomenech created a cohesive team of 130 employees, created more services for the Legislative library to offer including access to the physically challenged and the blind; took part in the consideration of over eight hundred pieces of legislation; managed $11 million budget on an yearly basis, and turned more surplus in the three year tenure.
Prior to the position as the head of the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Francisco was the Chief Legal Counsel of the P.R Senate of the President, where he represented and was in charge of the legal counsel to the Senate, supervising counsel from the outside like the federal lobbyist of the Senate, and managing the counsel work that happened in-house. On his education, Mr. Francisco is a two time graduate of the Rio Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico where he graduated with his Juris Doctor and a Business Administration in Political Science. Between the academic year 1999 and 2000, he served as the president of the General Student Body Council, and also served as the Academic Senator before getting into the UPR Academic Senate of Piedras Campus.
In 1998 to 1999, Mr. Domenech was the Student Body President of the College of Social Sciences in UPR. While he was doing law, he also attended the University of London for one semester where he undertook comparative law courses.
In 2007 through to 2012, Mr. Domenech served as a member of the Democratic National Committee where he represented the Young Democrats of America. During the 2008 elections, Mr. Domenech served as Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Campaign Manager in Puerto Rico, where he helped Hillary gain a 68 -21 lead victory over Senator Obama. He also becomes a key member of the national finance of Ready for Hillary where he served as a co-chair to coordinate fundraisers throughout the USA for super PAC. In 2016, he pulled out a successful Puerto Rico primary campaign where Hillary led 61 polls to 37 over Senator Sanders.
