Sujit Choudhry is a well-known researcher in his field. The Center for Constitutional Transitions was founded to collect information on constructing constitutions. Experts on constructing constitutions participate in researching policies and coming up with better solutions to failing constitutions. Many people are involved in Sujit Choudhry’s center including universities, multilateral organizations and other constitutional experts. Sujit Choudhry’s Center has formed a partnership with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (constitutionaltransitions.org). This partnership will allow for research projects to be conducted over the matters of constitutional transitions, projects to reform the security sector working with emerging democracies on creating constitutions and protecting constitutions from the abuse of authoritative and partisan abuse.
